Afternoons with Amos broadcast live from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Amos was selected to “wave the Green Flag” to start practice Thursday, May 19th. During the broadcast, the first time WTLC-AM had broadcast from the Speedway in 18 years, Amos talked with the first African-American to race at Indianapolis Willy T.
