On a special Afternoons with Amos, five classroom teachers discussed the joys, challenges and inspiration of being teachers in Indianapolis public schools. Joining in the discussion was Brittany Langdon, a fifth grade teacher at KIPP Charter School; Adam Jones an English teacher at Indy Met HS; JuDonne Hemmingway, a middle school English teacher at Fall Creek Academy; Steven Filie, a Social Studies teacher in at Arlington HS and Keith Thomas, a fifth through seventh grade Math teacher at Indiana Math and Science Academy North. All five are or were Teach for America teachers. They were joined by Patrick O’Donnell, Executive Director for teacher for America in Indianapolis.
