Montell Jordan scored a huge hit with “This Is How We Do It” in 1995, unfortunately he failed to pay Uncle Sam from 1999-2001 leaving him with a huge tax debt.
TMZ is reporting that the singer owes the IRS $627,987.06.
The government filed a tax lien against his property in 2004. Since he didn’t pay up the lien against his property was re-filed last month. If he doesn’t come up with the money the government can go after his property in court.
