In an exclusive interview, United States Attorney Joe Hogsett told Afternoons with Amos that his office is hiring an Assistant US Attorney with responsibilities to go after case of discrimination against Hoosiers. Hogsett told Amos Brown that this new attorney will prosecute cases of discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation and other federal discrimination statutes, including bias against veterans and military personnel.  In the interview Hogsett talked about his office’s commitment to also prosecute his office’s special unit that is targeting public corruption cases by public and governmental officials.  Hogsett encouraged listeners who had information about bias crimes or government corruption to bring the information to the attention of the US Attorney’s Indianapolis office or to the FBI.
