Republican candidate for Governor Mike Pence appeared on Afternoons with Amos to explain his proposal to cut income taxes for all Hoosiers by 10% if elected. Pence is convinced that his plan would help Hoosiers hurting because of the recession and would help stimulate the economy and increase jobs by having Indiana’s tax rates the lowest in the Midwest. But less cash in state coffers means less cash for Indiana’s K-12 public schools. In our interview, Pence addressed that plus comments on decisions the state must make under the Affordable Care Act and more.
