New Spokane Washington Police Chief and former Indianapolis Public Safety Director Dr. Frank Straub told Spokane TV that a “small group” of IMPD “retirees” are the ones that caused the controversy during his tenure in Indy. In the interview Straub dismissed criticism of him by people in Indianapolis. KREM-TV, the CBS affiliate in Spokane devoted a significant part of their evening newscast to the naming of Straub as the city’ Spokane’s new Police Chief and the controversy behind Straub’s years here in Indianapolis.
