Senate District 30 – which includes much of Washington Township including Nora, Keystone/Crossing area, Broad Ripple, Meridian-Kessler, the Ditch and Harcourt Rd corridors, plus most of Carmel and Fishers. Candidates appearing from District 28 were Democrat Michael Adkins. Republican Michael Crider had a work commitment and couldn’t appear. Candidates appearing from District 30 were Democrat Tim DeLaney and Republican incumbent Sen. Scott Schneider. The Democratic and Republican senate candidates in District 35, which includes all of Decatur Township and the southern half of Wayne Township didn’t respond to the invitation to appear.  Of those candidates who did appear, hear their views on jobs, education, reducing incarceration on non violent offenders, taxes and much more.
