Indianapolis Salutes The Heartbeat of Gospel Burnetta Sloss-Tanner

 On Sunday October 14th , 2 days before her birthday, Indianapolis will celebrate and appreciate Burnetta Sloss Tanner. This grand event will take place at the Christ Church Apostolic Church 6601 N. Grandview Rd at 5:00p.m. This service will also celebrate Burnetta’s birthday which is October 14th  and the group she directed for years The Jordanaires. The service will feature many tributes and local choirs. Such groups are: Demetrius West & Autority, Universal Church of Truth Choir and rumor has it that the Jordanaires may sing. Please come out on tomorrow as Indy salutes Gospel Legend Burnetta Sloss Tanner , former announcer for AM 1310 before her retirement, The Hearbeat of Gospel. She has also worked tirelessly for the local Civil Rights Department. Burnetta has been an icon in the city for over 50 years. This event is free to the public and a free will offering will be raised. Hope to see all of Indianpolis come out and salute The Heartbeat Burnetta Sloss-Tanner.
