Nashville Marketer and Entrepreneur Benita Bellamy

Graces Cover Of National Lifestyle Publication Girl Talk Magazine

Nashville, TN — Benita Bellamy, marketing entrepreneur and CEO of the Nashville marketing and publicity agency The Bellamy Group, LLC,  has landed the cover story in the November Issue of Girl Talk Magazine.  Girl Talk (with Len Jae) Magazine is a nationally distributed lifestyle magazine that features celebrities and everyday people with inspiring and captivating life stories.

Benita transparently shares her personal story of the sometimes turbulent process of becoming the noted marketing and publicity executive she is today.  Beginning in performing arts marketing over fifteen years ago, Benita has worked her way through music and entertainment with a firm stance to never sacrifice integrity to achieve career status all while raising her daughter as a divorced single parent.  Five years ago she launched her own company – The Bellamy Group, LLC  which is full service boutique entertainment marketing agency that works with artists, musicians, record labels, performing arts, faith-based and non-profit organizations, and public personalities on the development and execution of marketing, publicity and branding campaigns.

Benita’s client base spans across the United States and internationally (Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, and Jamaica).  Her agency has managed and contributed marketing and publicity campaigns for Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award Winning artists, for companies and organizations such as the Verizon Wireless How Sweet The Sound Competition, the American Heart Association Most Powerful Voices Competition, and the God Belongs in My City National Prayer Walk.  Benita is also a contributing writer for CCM Magazine and is on the Innovation Nashville Leadership team and was voted the 2011 Rhythm of Gospel Award – Marketing and Radio Promotions of the Year.

Among the many accolades and a stellar reputation within the industry, one of Benita’s most redeeming qualities is her selflessness. Her willingness to share her knowledge and mentor others is very rare in an entertainment industry that can often be extremely competitive and cut-throat. Benita’s reputation for collaboration and nurturing is what sets her apart from the rest and serves as a major factor for the respect, loyalty and admiration that she receives from her staff and all those who have the opportunity to work with her.
