With more people receiving Social Security benefits every year, there’s lot of interest in the programs and services Social Security offers. In their first appearance on Afternoons With Amos in four years, officials from the Indianapolis office of the Social Security Administration appeared to talk about the different programs and answer listener questions. Charo Boyd of Social security talked about everything from the regular monthly benefits for seniors, the current age when you can start receiving Social security. Boyd also discussed Social Security’s disability programs, survivor benefits, SSI and lots more. And Boyd was joined by AARP/Indiana’s Sarah Waddle to talk about other services for seniors and those soon to become seniors. Click the Link to Hear Amos’ Interview with Social Security.
