Sunday Best Winner and Stellar Award-winning singer Y’Anna Crawley and her family are in need of prayers and support after a winter storm destroyed the family’s home. On Wednesday, March 6 at approximately 4:30 p.m., a tree came crashing into the home of Y’Anna’s parents. A snowstorm mixed with high winds caused the tree to fall into the kitchen and an upstairs bathroom and kitchen.

Y’Anna’s mother, Deborah Jeter was in the kitchen cooking at the time of the crash. A small fire started, but firefighters put it out quickly when they arrived. At the time the tree crashed into the home 5 of the 7 people that live in the house were at home, but all escaped unharmed. Even newscasters called the family’s safety, “miraculous.”

The house has been deemed unsafe and been condemned by the county’s home inspector. The Jeter family has lived in the home for 21 years, but are now temporarily displaced.

Y’Anna’s non-profit organization, The Promise Foundation has made a significant contribution and is helping to the best of its ability. 4 Adults and 3 children were forced to leave their home and are staying with family and friends. They are in need of some basic essentials. Donations will be used to help the family obtain some of their basic every day needs. We are asking that your donations be in the form of a gift card so that the family can properly allocate the use to the need of each family member. Send donations to:
