The cast of “A Resurrection” paid tribute to their late co-star Michael Clarke Duncan at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday.
The actor, 54, died in September from complications of a heart attack he suffered at his California home in July.
He was remembered by his co-stars Mischa Barton and Jamie Kennedy during the premiere held at ArcLight Cinemas in Sherman Oaks this week. Barton told The Hollywood Reporter, “[He was] the nicest guy… his energy on set was lovely. He was always joking around, and he made me comfortable.”

Kennedy, who produced the movie, adds, “He was a big-hearted, sweet man.”
The late actor played a school principal in the film, and teen star J. Michael Trautmann, who appears as a student, recalled how Duncan taught him patience and humility.
“It was fantastic to work with him, he is surely missed,” Trautmann said.
