City of Indianapolis Construction Roundtable
In 2004, the Indiana Construction Roundtable began an effort to change the way we build things. This owner driven initiative was called the ICR Diversity Initiative, and its purpose was to make a meaningful change to the way that the construction industry considers diversity. This interactive program will offer attendees: 1) Better understanding of what leading owners are doing to strengthen our diverse community; 2) The opportunity to meet several owners and hear about future construction projects; and 3) An opportunity to obtain an understanding of what resources and other opportunities exist to support diversity and economic development.

Youth Entrepreneur Seminar: The Making of a Mogul – Day 2
The YES is a two-day camp that will introduce young adults, middle to high school, to the fundamentals of economic literacy and business management through the use of intensive interactive training and mentoring experiences. YES’s mission is to educate, inspire, and develop youth entrepreneurs with businesses or a desire to own businesses that will contribute socially and economically to their communities.

Parent Engagement Summit – Redefining 21st Century Learning
The 1st annual Parent Engagement Summit is a one-day event created to equip parents with the tools and resources they need to effectively engage in their children’s education. Providing parents with knowledge and techniques that empower them to build healthy relationships with everyone involved in their student’s learning environment, Dr. Marvin Thompson will engage attendees.
