40-year-old chart-topping gospel recording artist Deitrick Haddon’s visibility has skyrocketed, but his credibility as a minister of the gospel has taken a serious nosedive in 2013.

All the negative news: his split from Damita Haddon, baby born out of wedlock, explicit pictures floating around on the Internet, and grilling in the media over his ratchet reality show, Oxygen’s “Preachers Of LA,” has seen the once celebrated leader raked over the coals.

Yet, Haddon refuses to go down and is sending a pointed message to his critics in a new song called “Restoration.”

“If you gone make it in this industry you got to get past people/If you gone make it in this ministry you got to conquer evil/ If you gone make it in this life you got to be strong you can’t be feeble…”

He continued, “Sometimes even good people make bad decisions/Moving too fast, head-on collision…”
