According to a family member former Indiana Congressman Andrew Jacobs Jr passed away Saturday December 27, 2013 peacefully at his home at the age of 81. Andy Jacobs served in the House of Representatives from 1965 – 1973 and again from 1975 – 1997.
Jacobs gradated fronm Indianapolis Public School’s Shortridge Hight School in 1949. He graduated from Indiana University in 1955. Before serving in Congress he served in the Indiana State House of Representatives from 1959-1960.
