The visitation and funeral service for former Indiana Congressman Andy Jacobs Jr. takes place Friday morning in the Rotunda of the Statehouse. Jacobs died peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on December 28th.
The casket will arrive at 10am immediately followed by a viewing for family. Then the visitation will open to the public. The funeral begins at Noon.
Governor Mike Pence has asked that all flags in the county be lowered to half-staff today from sunrise to sunset in honor of the 30-year United States House Representative. Pence and Congressman Andre Carson are scheduled to speak.
