School & Business Closures and Delays

Indianapolis Public Schools, the state’s second largest school district and other school districts remain closed for a fifth consecutive day on Friday due to snow-covered roads and sidewalks. Due to slippery roads and other road conditions that are pretty bad, a number of other schools that were on a two-hour delay today have switched gears and decided to  cancel  classes.  Those schools include Carmel Clay, Noblesville, Hamilton Southeastern, Westfield, Brownsburg and Avon schools.

Be careful if you must head out, like Fishers which is resuming class today.

According to the State Department of Education, Monday and Tuesday’s snow days will not have to be made up, but the rest of the week will.
