In a few short years, James Fortune has become one of the most poignant songwriters and recording artists in Gospel Music. Fortune has amassed notoriety and recognition as a prolific songwriter and choral front man, having penned such instant classics as “Still Able” “I Believe” “I Trust You” & “Hold On”. His name has become synonymous with poignant, piercing lyrics that echo the sentiments of his listeners hearts. In Spring 2013, Fortune launched his nationally syndicated radio show “The James Fortune Show” which airs 5 days a week in over 29 markets. The recipient of multiple Stellar Awards, numerous ASCAP songwriting awards and multiple #1 radio hits, Fortune’s star has enjoyed a steady ascent since his debut in 2004.
This February, James Fortune, along with his vocal ensemble, Fiya, returned to the scene with ‘Live Though It’, his sophomore release on Fiya World Music / eOne. The live set was recorded in Austell, GA with over four thousand fans in attendance at Word Of Faith Church (Austell, GA)
