Chante Moore is definitely making her way to the Circle City for the 2014 Women’s Empowerment Series! The “R&B Divas” LA star is slated to join a few of her co-stars for the event that is sure to be inspiring!

Moore’s passion for music and singing began long before she got her break. As a minster’s daughter, she began singing in church. Her sultry voice known for its amazing four-octave vocal range was later discovered after she competed in a beauty pageant. She officially entered the music industry at 22-years-old upon signing her first record deal. Now, her memorable hits such as “Love’s Taken Over,” “Chante’s Got A Man,” “It’s Alright” and “I’m What You Need” are still taking over the airwaves. She has contributed her beautiful voice to other legendary singers’ projects including “One More Time” with Kenny G, “Your Home Is in My Heart” with Boyz II Men, which was featured on the How Stella Got Her Groove Back soundtrack. Her song “Wey U” was a hit song on the popular Waiting to Exhale movie as well.

Moore’s soulful talent has earned her a number of nominations for Soul Train Music Awards and NAACP Image Awards. Her collaboration with The Isley Brothers for “Contagious” earned her a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B Soul Single, Group, Band or Duo. She was featured in Otis Sallid’s Gospel! Gospel! Gospel! at the Wilshire Ebell Theater.

Moore, who is the mother of two children, is slated to make her Broadway debut in “Gospel Soul Rock ‘n’ Roll”.
