Indianapolis is getting more national attention. Livability.com has ranked the Circle City number-three on its 2014 list of Top Ten Best Downtowns. The website generated this list with data that included improvement in retail and office vacancy rates, population gains, income growth, and unemployment (which by the way continues to drop according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development–January’s rate was six-point-four-percent, bringing it in under the national average).  They also used data on the ratio of people who live and work downtown and the overall livability of the city.
