The Community Affairs Branch of IMPD is hosting its first Community Day Saturday at 11am and they’re inviting you to come out. The day is designed to educate members of the community about the various youth and adult programs IMPD’s Community Affairs Branch offers. They’ll also provide the opportunity to learn and sign-up for many of the programs. The event will be held at the JTV Hill Center, where they hosted the Police Athletic League events, at 1806 North Columbia Avenue.

“IMPD is committed to providing safe places for our area youth,” IMPD Chief Rick Hite said, “We are grateful to both our private and community-based partnerships that provided resources to aid the JTV Hill Center and the officers that work out of it.”

The Pacers, Colts, Eskenazi Health, Center for Leadership Development, Bar-B-Que Heaven and even we, here at Radio One, will be there.
