Tyrese Gibson uploaded a video of himself teaching his 6-year-old daughter, Shayla, a lesson in confidence and self-worth! In the video he’s seen teaching her how to speak clearly and with authority when she’s introducing herself. He also had her repeat several affirmations.
“When you have confidence, when you say your name, you look someone in their face and you say what? ‘Hi, my name is [Shayla Gibson].’…This is all I’m saying to you. ‘It doesn’t matter what they think of me, I know what I think of myself.’ I am, repeat after me, ‘I am great. I am amazing.’ ”
