People are still waiting for Lupita Nyong’o to goof up on the red carpet. But you (whoever you are out there) should hang that up because it’s not happening! The queen of the red carpet proved once again that she indeed deserves that title and is quickly becoming everyone’s style and beauty muse.

Lupita 2014 MTV Movie Awards - ArrivalsFor the 2014 MTV Movie Awards the newly appointed Lancôme ambassador stunned us all in a colorful Spring-inspired Chanel frock, a twisted and tucked pompadour and dazzling eye makeup.

Lucky for us, her makeup artist Nick Barose shares all the products that he used plus gives few tips on achieving her “sparkly, disco-inspired eyes.”

Barose used Color Design Infinite 24H in Unlimited Silver as a base, and then added All That Glitters over the top. He extended this shadow into the inner corner of the eye and out to the outer corner (almost matching up with the lash line). Barose then accentuated the lashes by lining them with Artliner 24H liner in Black Diamond and using Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara in Deep Black.

A subtle glossy lip was used so that he wouldn’t compete with the metallic, disco eye. Barose lined the lips with Le Lipstique in Sheer Chocolate and then applied L’Absolu Rouge in Saffron Silk lip color.
