One of the major contests in the May 6th Primary are the race for Marion County Superior Court Judge. In the Democratic primary twelve candidates are running for eight positions to be elected.  Ten of the candidates appeared this week on Afternoons with Amos to explain why they’re running for Judge, what their background and experiences have been, what type of Judge they would be. The candidates also gave their views on whether a proposed new Marion County Justice Center that would house criminal courts should be located in the downtown area as opposed to a site on the farthest reaches of the Indianapolis Airport.  The candidates and Judges also talked about the importance of jury duty.  Appearing on the program were Greg Bowes and David Hennesey who were not endorsed at the Marion County Democratic Party’s slating convention in February.  Also appearing were those candidates endorsed at that convention. Incumbent Judges Annie Christ-Garcia, Barbara Cook Crawford, David Dreyer and James Osborn.  Plus judge candidates Angela Davis, Shatrice Flowers, Christina Klineman and Marcel Pratt, Jr.  Click the Arrows Below to Hear the Democratic Candidates for Marion County Superior Court Judge and their Interviews with Amos. ©2014 WTLC/Radio One.
