We’ve all come to a point in our lives where we needed God to “Move in A Mighty Way.”
In a recent interview with Sheilah Belle at Praise 104.7FM, the group revealed how the song came about. Group member Branden Anderson recalls how he was playing the keyboard, Lamonte was playing the drums, and Curtis was leading Praise and worship during their church’s worship service.
“Lamonte and I were playing, then Pastor Marlon began to pray, and I was playing a chord pattern. Curtis was mouthing something to me and I was trying to figure out what in the world he was saying. He was telling me to continue playing that chord pattern after the prayer was over because there was a song being birthed out of his spirit at that very moment. After Pastor Marlon finished praying, Curtis began to sing the lyrics “Move in a Mighty Way, Move in a Mighty Way Oh God, Oh God.” Then the praise team started singing it and the rest is history. The song was birthed right then and there during our worship service. Then Pastor Marlon prophesied and said that was the song we needed to record and send to radio. So here we are!”
