Nigeria Kidnapped Girls

Nigeria’s military has located nearly 300 schoolgirls abducted by Islamic extremists.

The country’s chief of defense says there are fears that using force to try and free them could get them killed. There is no word yet on where the girls were located or what the next step will be.

More than 300 teenagers were abducted from their school on April 15. Police say 53 escaped on their own, and 276 remain captive.

Its not clear how Nigeria located the missing school girls, but the U.S. has helped with air searches and sent 80 American forces to nearby Chad to help with the search.
