Showing Up: IPS Teachers Top An Important List

Teachers at Indianapolis Public Schools have better attendance records than their peers in other districts in a new study. The National Council on Teacher Quality ranks the district number one among 40 large districts nationally for teachers showing up for work. The survey says Indy teachers take an average of six personal or sick days compared to the national average of eleven.
