One person was killed and two others injured following a family dispute which led to a shooting in the Mars Hill area. Metro police say the melee happened early Monday morning on South McClure Street in Indy. One man, believed to be the fiancee of the family’s daughter, was found shot and killed in the driveway. He’d allegedly been in a disagreement with her mother that escalated into beating his future mother-in-law with a baseball bat. She was shot in the face in the dispute and another male was shot in the head and shoulder. Both were taken to Eskenazi Hospital. She’s in critical condition. He’s listed as stable. Police are still investigating.
