I’m not really into soccer, but yesterday during the World Cup match between the USA and Belgium, you would have never know that. That doesn’t just go for me, it goes for most Americans yesterday who came out in massive numbers to support team USA.
It was an awesome game. It went into overtime but Belgium came out on top with a 2-1 score.
Another person that came out on top was Tim Howard! The goalie for the USA team was simply amazing!
Tim Howard’s performance was spectacular even though we lost.
Tim Howard is a devout Christian
Faith is a key part of Howard’s life and shapes who he is.
“The most important thing in my life is Christ,” Howard said in a 2006 interview with Campus Crusade for Christ. “He’s more important to me than winning or losing or whether I’m playing or not. Everything else is just a bonus.”
He was born in North Brunswick, New Jersey, to an African-American father and a Hungarian mother.
