Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4th. That’s one day away and you are encouraged to vote at the polls. But according to election officials in Marion County, early voting numbers are down 50 percent from the mid-term election in 2010. Mail-in ballot requests are also down 60 percent. So you may need a little incentive to show up at the polls. See what happens when someone else steps in to make decisions on your behalf, decisions about your life that may not be in your best interest.  Click the media player below.

Early voting ends Monday at Noon at the Marion County Clerk’s office. If you’re in one of the surrounding counties, the time is the same at that county’s clerk office. The polls will open at 6 a.m. on Tuesday for the general election. Remember to turn over your ballot to vote for the school board candidates.

This election is much bigger than how you wear your hair.
