Public Safety Director Dr. Frank Straub, IMPD Chief Paul Ciesielski and Deputy Mayor Olgen Williams expressed their dismay live in the program’s first hour. Rev. Stephen Clay of the Baptist Ministers Alliance, Bishop Tom Benjamin, Rev. C.L. Day of Concerned Clergy, Pastor Michael Jones, Rev. Fitzhugh Lyons, Councilman William Oliver were among the community leaders in studio expressing strong outrage. And their emotions were echoed by listeners calls, e-mails and statements.
