In a sometimes emotional interview, Indiana Republican Congressman Mike Pence talked frankly with Amos on Afternoons with Amos, about a trip Pence took to Selma, Alabama and the scene of the “Bloody Selma” voting rights march of 1965. In the interview Pence, one of the most conservative members of Congress, admits now having a better understanding of how emotional African-Americans feel about voting rights.
