Words For the Day: Lift Up Your Eyes

When you feel down, everything around you seems to fall apart, and you begin to lose your strength.  Your head and hands an d heart begin to droop. Even your eyes and your voice are lowered.

You are downcast because you are looking at your problems, and this only makes you feel worse. Sometimes you are tempted to say, “Oh, what’s the use?” and just give up. But God is waiting for you to lift up your eyes and look to Him for help.

Life will always bring discouraging situations, but you don’t have to let them get you down. Despite life’s distressing circumstances, you can be confident in the Lord, the lifter of your head.

Lift up your eyes, hands, head, and heart and look not at your problems, but at the one who has promised to see you through to victory. Smile… it will lift your spirit.

Take that and run with it!

Words For the Day: Sufficient Grace

Do you ever wonder why God does not always deliver you from your bondage and problems immediately? The reason is because only the Lord knows everything that needs to be done in the lives of His children- and the perfect timing for it to be done.

You are not always delivered from your distress at the precise moment you call on the name of the Lord. Sometimes you must endure for awhile, be patient and continue  in the faith . Thank God, during those times in which the Lord decided for whatever reason not to deliver you right away, He always gives the grace and strength you need to press on toward eventual victory. He may not come when you want Him but he is always on time.

Take that and Run with it!

Word for the day: Focus

Sometimes we lose our focus. We can be walking in love all day long, going along fine, as we forget our focus of love, we stop making progress and come to a standstill- aggravated , upset , and offended.

Understand that the mind is a battlefield. Stay focused. Ask God to help you remain full of love, no matter what comes your way today.

Proverbs 19:21   Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that wil stand.

Word for the day: Plan

Even though you may still be operating in old habits, you still have hope of change, but you can’t change yourself. God will change you, if you seek Him with  your whole heart.

Don’t be in a hurry for God to finish working in your life. We want everything to be done instantly, but God is not interested in our schedule. The enemy may mess up your plans, but God’s plans don’t get messed up, and He has a unique plan for you.

Seek God’s plan for your life. Stay on fire, red hot, zealous. Pursue His purpose for you with every ounce of energy you have. There is nothing in this world that is worth seeking more.
