Michelle Bachman was quite tame in her Tea Party rebuttal, still it was an insult to the 6 people who died in Tuscon and the Congresswoman who was shot in the face to have her speak.

Two years ago Bachman called for Americans to be “armed and dangerous” on the issue of energy tax. She would later refer to “death panels” in Obama’s healthcare program and say

This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn’t pass.

She also said that Obama “is making a nation of slaves” and claim that he was “Anti-American” and claim that the census could lead to “internment camps.”

All of Bachmann’s rhetoric is full of hate, fear, and violent rhetoric, the same hate and fear that drove Jared Loughner to shoot Congresswoman Gifford.

According to Politics Daily, Michelle Bachman subscribes to the same “New World Order” currency conspiracy that Jared Loughner does.

Bachmann’s biggest supporter is Glenn Beck, the man who’s conspiracy theories and views eerily resemble those of Jared Loughner.

Will her talk of “death panels,” “armed and dangerous” “slitting wrists,” doing “whatever it takes” and “nation of slaves” drive the next Jared Loughner to commit a violent act?

After the Giffords incident, people from both side of the aisle have pledged to come together to better our country with civil discourse. Bachmann’s violent rhetoric and conspiracy theories have no place in civil discourse. The fact that she was even given a platform to speak was an insult to Congresswoman Gabriell Giffords and the people who died.
