*Ooh wee! Check out what little 11-year-old Jaden Smith, “The Karate Kid”  and  ‘Jackie Chan are doing to all the big ol’ bad ass dudes in the “A-Team.”

Kicking butt, that’s what. At the box office, that is.

After Friday’s opening, Smith and Chan have now taken a commanding lead with an estimated $18.8 million in North America.

Playing in 3,633 locations, the PG-13-rated movie easily topped the charts in the battle of the ’80s remakes.

Fox’s “The A-Team,” the PG-13-rated version of the action-packed TV show with a cast headed by Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Biel,is in second place with $9.7 million from 2,730 theaters.

As the boxoffice showed new signs of life, Paramount’s release of DreamWorks Animation’s “Shrek Forever After,” which had ruled the roost for the past three weekends, downshifted to third place with about $4.5 million as it closed in on the $200 million domestic mark, reports THR.com.

Universal’s comedy “Get Him to the Greek,” beginning its second weekend, was fourth with $3.3 million.
