Words for the Day: Keep it Moving
That is one of my absolute favorite scriptures, and as I celebrate my 40th birthday today the Lord has brought this scripture to mind. When we were younger, we set goals for ourselves. We all had great plans on what we wanted to do in this great life and sometimes we get to achieve those goals. I for one had some lofty plans and I have met some of my goals but I have sooo many other things to accomplish. I DO thank God for a healthy body, a sane mind, a loving husband who has been with me for going on 18 years, two great boys, a radio career that I just started only 4 years ago and a wonderful teaching profession. I am doing a little acting here and there and have met some great people in my life. And I get to minister to thousands of people daily through the radio here at the Heavenly Café, yet there are some other things I want to accomplish. Some may say well Donna you are 40 and its too late. Well I say it’s never too late! Look at Betty White and the awesome year she is having at the age of 88! No, it’s never too late. Because like the scripture says, “he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. “ I believe that and I pray you do too!
