Appearing on Afternoons with Amos, Congressman Andre Carson reported on the meeting with the President in the White House’s State Dining Room. Carson told Amos and listeners that jobs for African-Americans, including summer jobs for youth, was the major topic of the hour long meeting. Carson said the President took the CBC’s concerns very seriously and impressed that seriousness upon his (President Obama’s) staff.  Hear the full interview above.
