Your Life is like Wine – It Gets Better with Age

Have you ever thought about the Wine aging process?  It’s simple yet complicated – similar to life.

Only the top 1% of all wine has the ability to improve significantly with age after more than a decade and the reason is due to the many chemical reactions, fermentation, deterioration, and the most important of all pressure build up after being locked away for decades to ensure the purity, quality, and STRENGTH!

This is the exact process of life – it is necessary to experience change, deterioration, pressure buildup after being locked away in our own toxic thoughts for decades.  But just like wine, the outcome will be purity, a deepening in complexity, quality and STRENGTH!

What a picture of your Christian life – transitioning from our deterioration, pressure, and experience. As the pressure builds, it produces purity and maturity that is found only in the best wines. Does this sound like where you’ve been lately?

What you’ve been taught must be tested or it has no real value. Before you move from the natural to the supernatural, you’ll have to face the wind and the waves. Some lessons can only be learned in the storm. When you tell God you want to grow, don’t be surprised if He tells you to get into the boat. That’s how you develop faith and confidence in God. That’s how you get to know He’s bigger than anything you’ll ever face, and when He tells you to go over to the other side, no power can keep you from getting there.

Today, if you find yourself being moved through the complex aging process, rejoice, it means you’re getting closer to the King’s table.
