No one in Hollywood is making money like movie and television mogul Tyler Perry.  “Forbes” magazine has placed Perry at the top of this year’s list of “Entertainment’s Highest-Paid Men.”  Perry, who was once homeless, brought in 130-million dollars between May 2010 and May 2011.  His impressive income can be credited to his “Madea” movie franchise, as well as TV shows such as “Meet The Browns” and “House of Payne.”  With another incredibly successful year behind him, Perry should have no problem treating himself to a nice birthday gift.  The Hollywood renaissance man is turning 42 today.

Finishing second on “Forbes'” list is movie director Jerry Bruckheimer, who earned 113-million dollars thanks to projects like the fourth installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.  Steven Spielberg comes in third with 107-million dollars, while music icon Elton John is fourth with 100-million dollars.  Simon Cowell, the star of the upcoming talent competition “The X-Factor,” rounds out the top five with 90-million.
