Boy do I remember back in the ’80s when my mom was glued to the TV watching Dallas every week. People couldn’t wait to see what JR, played by Larry Hagman, and Bobby, played by Patrick Duffy was going to do week after week. And who could forget the phenomenon of ” Who shot JR?” The whole country couldn’t wait to find out who shot him!

Well, TNT is bringing the Ewing family back to TV Wednesday night, June 13,  for 10 episodes, blending key original characters with a new generation.

“It’s just like coming home,” says 81-year-old Larry Hagman. Having played the goofy but lovable astronaut in “I Dream of Jeannie” in the late ’60s, “Dallas” turned Hagman into J.R. Ewing, one of the most indelible villains in TV history, with his signature Stetson, scene-chewing insults and nefarious double-crosses.

It has some of the original characters and also introducing a new generation of characters.

Let me know if you’ll watch it!
