  1. Call Your Dad– I know it sounds simple and a “duh” moment, but you wouldn’t believe the number of people who don’t do that. Don’t send him a text or a Facebook message, actually call your dad and say Happy Father’ s Day. You may not realize how much that would mean to him.
  2. Take him out or grill out – You don’t have to go to a fancy place, it’s all about spending time with him and letting him know you care. Maybe get some wings with your dad or better yet. Grill a few burgers or steaks for your dad. What dad doesn’t like grilled food?
  3. Watch a movie together– Look at the TV guide and see what movies are coming on today. Watch it with your dad or better yet look in your closet of DVDs and pull out an “oldie but goodie” and watch it together. You can even buy your dad his top 5 movies on DVD and set a time to sit and watch.
  4. Watch the game tonight together– The NBA finals are on between the HEAT and the Thunder. Why not invite dad over, or better yet, you go over there and see him.  You get to do two thing: you make your dad happy and you still get to  see the game!
  5. Make a card– I know it sounds soooo kindergarten, but homemade cards are some of the best cards ever, no matter how old you are when you make them.  Add some old pictures of you and your dad, or recall a favorite memory. Watch and see how much your dad will appreciate it.

If you have any last minute gift ideas please share!

Have a great Father’s Day!
