San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro is set to follow Barack Obama’s footsteps from the 2004 Democratic National Convention, as he delivers the keynote speech tonight.

The keynote speech is of special significance and has been painted to show who the future leader of the respective party is. Back in 2004, then-Senator Barack Obama was introduced to the nation, and now he’s the president of the US. The keynote speech is a launching pad for politicians, and Castro is already making a milestone as the first Latino keynote speaker at the DNC.
