A Chicago pastor calling for an end to youth violence is marching through neighborhood streets.

Bishop Larry Trotter is he senior pastor at Sweet Holy Spirit Church on Chicago’s South Side. Nearly 200 people joined him Sunday afternoon.

He says he’s holding the rally to end violence gripping his community.

The marchers wore red clothing to symbolize the bloodshed, sang hymns and prayed at several street corners.

The march follows the death of 17-year-old Derrick Davis. He was fatally shot Friday just a block from where he lived in Chicago.
