The chance to gain money can help dieters lose weight, a new study says. Researchers at Mayo Clinic found that people in a weight loss study who got cash incentives were more likely to stick to their diets, and were more likely to lose weight. Researchers tracked 100 people for one year. The study will be presented tomorrow at the AmericanCollege of Cardiology’s annual Scientific Session in San Francisco.
