SUSPECT WHO SHOT MAN FOUND

An arrest was made This Morning in the shooting death of a man at a North side apartment.

Indianapolis police arrested Christien Jones in the killing of 19-year-old Tyrus Harris.

Harris had been shot multiple times Tuesday evening at the Creekside Square Apartments.

Police have not yet release any additional information about the arrest of Jones.

 

MAN KILLED SHOT AND KILLED AT LAFAYETTE SQUARE MALL

Police are looking for the suspect that shot and killed a man outside Lafayette Square Mall.

It happened yesterday afternoon just before 2 p.m. in the mall’s parking lot.

Police said the victim and his cousin had a meeting set up with someone at the mall.

That person got into the backseat of the victim’s SUV  — and opened fire after a brief conversation.

The victim, who was in the front seat of the SUV, was shot in the head.

The shooter fled the vehicle, and the victim’s cousin began driving, ending up in a nearby parking lot outside D.J. Beauty Supply.

The victim, a 21-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and security cameras were not working at mall.

We have a new Pope! Jorge Bergoglio was elected yesterday, the first ever from the Americas and the first from outside Europe in more than a millennium. He chose the name Pope Francis.

The 76-year-old archbishop has spent nearly his entire career at home in Argentina, overseeing churches and shoe-leather priests.

Bergoglio is known for modernizing an Argentine church that had been among the most conservative in Latin America.

 

MAN WHO JUMPED INTO FALL CREEK FOUND DEAD IN WHITE RIVER

A man whose body was found in the White River on Tuesday is the man who police looked for last month after he jumped into Fall Creek.

36-year-old, Robert Stiger, had been missing since he jumped into creek following an argument with his girlfriend on January, 17th.

A construction worker noticed the body on the east side of White River at 10th Street

The Marion County Coroner’s Office said the cause of Stiger’s death was drowning.

 

QUVENZHANE’ WALLIS GETS NEW ROLE

The youngest person ever to be nominated for an Oscar isn’t having any trouble finding work. Sony Pictures says, Quvenzhané Wallis, will play the lead in the upcoming “Annie” remake.

Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett  are the producers of  the film and originally their daughter Willow was originally attached to the role, but as she’s now approaching her 13th has outgrown the part. Wallis is only 9.

No sex! That’s what the newest Bachelor is saying. Sean Lowe is now engaged to his Catherine who he met on the ABC TV Show, and says right now he and his fiancée will share everything except their bodies until after they say I do.

Lowe, who is a Christian and a born-again virgin, says it’s a personal decision as much as it’s a spiritual one.

The couple’s wedding date is almost here and they’ve decided they’re going to walk down the aisle on TV.
