Millions of churches across America celebrated Resurrection Sunday with praise & worship and reenactments of the crucifixion.

At Bishop TD Jakes’ “The Potter’s House” in Dallas, TX, an extravagant visual interpretation, inclusive of dance, music, acting, and special performances from Kim Burrell, Melonie Daniels, and Jesse Campbell from NBC’s “The Voice,” made for a spectacular display.

The elaborate production was called the “Easter Opera,” during which, famed gospel-jazz singer, Kim Burrell performed twice. First, she offered a piano solo while singing two stirring hymns, “I Need Thee” and “Draw Me Nearer.”
