Nicole Eggert is just the latest contestant to suffer an injury while participating on the ABC reality show. The former “Baywatch” star was injured during a taping of “Splash” and spent Thursday in the hospital, Eggert’s rep David Weintraub confirms to E! News.
The 41-year-old was pulled from the water by EMTs after “a bad landing,” a rep for the show confirms. She was rushed to the hospital and released later that day. “She is currently consulting with a doctor,” the rep adds.
The ER is always fun,” Eggert tweeted on Thursday night.
Katherine Webb was forced to quit the show in the last episode due to a back injury, while Chuy Bravo was forced to leave after hurting his heel in practice.
And though he suffered a ruptured eardrum after performing a drive, extreme skier Rory Bushfield has chosen to stay in the competition.
TMZ first reported the news of Eggert’s hospitalization.
