1 Man Shot and Killed at West side Nightclub
One person was shot and killed outside a northwest side nightclub early this morning at the Babes Showgirls lounge. he shooting was reported just before 3 a.m. in the 3800 block of Lafayette Road in the parking lot of Pure Passion West lounge (formally Babes Showgirls), Indianapolis Metro Police Department officers said.
Detectives said they are looking for two armed men in an SUV who may have been involved in the shooting. The victim’s name was not released.
Two Bodies Found in Vacant Indianapolis Lot
One man was arrested after Two bodies were found over the weekend in a vacant house lot on Indianapolis’ west side.
The bodies were found in the 1100 block of Miley Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
Police arrested 37 year old Actora Bankhead, on a murder charge shortly after the bodies were found.
Investigators believe the victims had been dead for about a week. Autopsies will be performed on Today.

An IMPD officer was injured when he crashed his squad car into a pole late last night.
The crash was reported around 11:30 at the intersection of Michigan and Township Line roads.
Dispatchers said The impact of the crash nearly split the car in half. The officer said he hit the pole after swerving out of the way of another car.
The officer was taken to Methodist Hospital for a blood-alcohol content test as a standard procedure and for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
Residents Near Massive Fire Allowed Back Home
People evacuated because of a fire at a recycling center near downtown are back home. Around 100 homes in a five-block radius were told to leave on Saturday when OTR Recyclers went up in flames. The EPA tested air particles and gave the all-clear for people to return on Sunday, but said anyone with respiratory issues should keep their windows closed.
