Pay attention to your physical appearance. Take the time to stay in shape and look good for each other. It does matter.

I know you are saying, here you go Donna talking about appearance. Well yes, I am, when you were dating you did your best to look your best for your spouse, that shouldn’t change when you get married.

You still need to be clean and look nice. Now we all can’t look like we did when we were in our 20’s , ( some of us don’t want to look like we did back then) but you vcan try hard to look your best. I don’t know why some Christians think that when they get married they are now blind. They don’t notice anything or anyone anymore. Not true. Your spouse can still see, and they will notice if you do things to make your self more attractive and desirable.

Ladies: Get your hair done, get a pedicure and manicure, buy some new clothes, put on a little makeup, wear his favorite perfume. Wear the type of clothes he likes to see you in.

Guys: Be clean, get your hair cut, Get your nails done or at least make sure you don’t have dirt under your nails, buy some cologne, buy clothes that flatter you.

Both of you: Work out together, eat healthy, get regular check ups at the dentist and the doctor.

Do it because your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, do it for your spouse and of course do it for you!!
