Police Search for Suspects in Taxi Driver Shooting
Police are asking for your help identifying two men in connection with the Monday night shooting of a taxicab driver on the city’s northwest side. The men were caught on video surveillance camera from inside the taxi and can be seen in still photos posted here:
Officials at Yellow Cab of Indianapolis say that video shows two males getting in and about ten-seconds later, shots are fired. The driver was seriously injured in this shooting near 38th Street and Guion Road. Police say each of the men shot the driver and fled. No money was taken.
The cab company is offering a ten-thousand-dollar reward for information that leads to the conviction of the two suspects. Police are asking you to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS. ###
